Coming to campus for a fair is a great way to get face to face with UIS Students as potential volunteers, interns or employees. There several opportunities for you to do this throughout the year. The following are four of the strongest opportunities for you to get in direct contact with UIS students.

Fall Involvement Expo

Each August as part of Welcome Week, student organizations, campus departments, businesses and non-profits come together to inform students of opportunities for participation on and off campus.  Watch for information on the 2021 expo.  Visit the UIS Life page for more information on the event and to register.

Foot in the Door Fair

The Volunteer Fair is a joint effort of the Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center, Career Development Center and the Office of Internships and Prior Learning.  Employers/organizations have the opportunity to meet with students and discuss volunteer options, internships being offered and other programs for which agencies need volunteers.

Spring Involvement Fair

As part of Welcome Back Week in January, UIS Student Life encourages student organizations and campus departments to show off what they have to offer. This fair is generally held in the first week of classes (mid-January) for the spring semester. Visit the UIS Life page in December for information on how to register.

Career Connections Expo

This event is open to students, alumni and community job seekers. For more information go to: Career Connections Expo
