The Program Fee for any of the UIS Faculty Led Short Programs is an estimation.  The Program Fee is used to cover all transportation costs, all lodging, most meals, and all excursions.  It is dependent upon the cost of international airfare and may vary accordingly.  Individuals purchasing their own airline tickets or requesting travel dates other than those planned for the group will have their program fee adjusted in consultation with the Study Away Program.

The Program Fee does not include tuition and university fees which will be billed separately for those enrolling in the seminar for credit. 

A deposit of $100 will be required. It will be added to the total amount due and is not a separate fee. Participants will be paying the remaining program fee in two installment (Initial & Final payment).

Checks should be made out to the University of Illinois at Springfield. Include the name of the program you are participating in.

Ireland/England Program (2022) – Cash, Check, or Money Order

Cash payments must be made in person (BRK 480 or BRK 483).

Check/Money Orders can be made in person or by mail. Estimated cost is as follows:

  • Non-refundable Deposit: $100
  • Initial Payment: $1,700
  • Final Payment: $1,700
  • Full Payment: $3,500

Paying with Credit Card:

You may pay their Study Away program fee by credit card through our online form.  Note that an additional fee will be assessed for online credit card payments. The additional service fee is non-refundable.

Ireland/England Program (2022) – online credit card payments

You will be asked to select one of the payment amount options. You must select one of the available options.

  • Non-refundable Deposit ($100 original cost plus 3% service charge): $103
  • Initial Payment ($1,700 original cost plus 3% service charge): $1,751
  • Final Payment ($1,700 original cost plus 3% service charge): $1,751
  • Full Payment ($3,500 original cost plus 3% service charge): $3,605
