MINUTES

I. Call to Order:  10:03 AM

II. Approve Agenda for this meeting:  Yes.  Motion by Linette Hughes, second by Jennifer May.    Motion carried.
III. Approve Minutes from last meeting:  Yes.  Motion by Jeff Sudduth, second by Jamie Voyles.  

IV. Announcements:  
a. Community Garden – Every Wednesday 5-7 there will be a work night.  All are welcome.
b. “Spring” New Employee Meet & Greet – Tuesday 6/13  11:30-1:30
V. New Business:  None 

VI. Old Business:   
a. Election – Will be held this month.  Vote early, vote often.

VII.        Chancellor’s Report:  Ryan Croke
a. Interested in Y-Block development downtown.  The Chancellor is currently in Washington, DC.  Student Union construction is on schedule.

VIII.        Human Resources Report :    Melissa Mlynski
a. There is a Tentative Agreement with the Faculty Union.  Performance Evaluations are flowing into the office now as are revised job descriptions for certain titles.

IX.        Treasurer’s Report:  (Alice Seaton) : Balance: $185.53
 
X.        Committee Reports:

A. APAC – Brian Moore 
1. No canvas and cocktails.  Maybe a social hour in July @ Crow’s Mill.

1. Janice is now an AP.  A new SURSMAC representative will be announced.

1. HR Directors want the furlough policy to become permanent.  To be discussed in more depth.

**Addendum to the Secretary’s Note:  It has been my pleasure to have served on CSAC for who knows how long with such wonderful, kind, and thoughtful FRIENDS.  UIS truly is a unique place to work, which can offer so many opportunities if one will only be willing to try new things.  Which is why it has taken me over 9 years to leave instead of 2!  (Just kidding)  All joking aside, it’s been a wonderful experience both working at UIS and making friends such as all of you on this council.  I will truly miss you all.  But who knows what paths lie ahead, I might be back one day….. as your Chancellor….   Keep in touch, Cheers!!  ccastelle0517@gmail.com
