MINUTES
Wednesday, July 10, 2013

Present:  Jo Barnard, CJ Castelletti, Ann Cole, Bobbie Fults, Darlene Harris-Kresse, Toni Langdon, Sandra Longen, Janice Marvel, Keith McMath, Dawn Orlove, Kurt Piskin, Amber Pyle, Tracy Rakes, Denise Rothenbach, Patricia Young

Call to Order:  10:07 a.m.

Approve Agenda for this meeting:  Yes.  Motion by Ann, second by Janice.  Motion carried.
Approve Minutes from last meeting:  Yes.  Motion by Patricia, second by Denise.  Motion carried.

Announcements:  	
1. Our next meeting will be held on August 7th in PAC 4E.  Beginning in September, meetings will be held at 10:00 on the first Thursday each month.
2. Today’s meeting will be short in order for CSAC to meet with SUCSS representatives.

New Business:  
1. CSAC Executive Board member election was held by secret ballot.  Ballots were counted by Laura.  

President – Bobbie Fults
Vice-President – Janice Marvel
Secretary – Dawn Orlove
Treasurer – Denise Rothenbach
2. CARE Committee members were announced: 2-year terms: Bobbie Fults, Janice Marvel; 1-year terms: Sandra Longen, Patricia Young, Tracy Rakes
3. CSAD will be held September 18th.  The CSAD committee will be: Bobbie Fults, Debbie Dove, Darlene Harris-Kresse, Patricia Young, and Sandra Longen.  The Chancellor has approved the budget which will be the same as last year.

Old Business:  
1. The Chancellor’s forum is scheduled for July 16th, CSAC members should try to attend.  Bobbie suggested that this be webcast for those who are unable to attend.

Chancellor’s Report – Ed Wojcicki
1. The Chancellor’s office sent an email announcing raises.

HR Report – Laura Alexander
1. Trying to get in compliance with the Protection of Minors Act
2. Have been doing a lot of prep work for the SUCSS auditors on campus
3. Employee evaluations are wrapping up

Treasurer’s Report – Denise Rothenbach 
1. Need to write up a budget request and submit to Aaron Shures
2. We spent all of last year’s money

Committee Reports:

Due to CSAC meeting with SUCSS auditors after the CSAC meeting, we did not discuss Committee Reports during the meeting.  Bobbie emailed the committee report summary with the meeting agenda.
