Dr. Ronda Mitchell

 

Dr. Mitchell has been at UIS for seven years.  Prior to coming to UIS, she taught at Millikin University in Decatur.  Besides being the Director of PATI, she is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education.  She has taught for 19 years in higher education and 8 years in the public schools.  Her undergraduate degree is from Bradley University and both her master’s and doctorate’s degrees are from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.  She is from Pekin, but has lived in Decatur for the past 28 years.

Dr. Mitchell enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with her friends and adult children.
