The Office of New Student Orientation and Parent Relations (NSOPR) participates in two fundraisers through the On Campus Marketing (OCM) company: Final Exam Care Packages and UIS Diploma Frames.  NSOPR receives a percentage of the combined sales for Fall Final Exam Care Packages and Spring Final Exam Packages.

We also sell a Prairie Stars 70 version of the O-Team Football shirt.  The 50/50 cotton-poly, v-neck t-shirt celebrates our 1970 founding.  Download the NSOPR Tshirt Sales Form 2018 and mail it in with your personal check or money order (drawn on US bank) payment ($20 for SMLXL; $24 2XL; $30 3XL special order).  We also accept cash onsite in our offices during regular business hours.

These funds are used to support non-orientation fee funded activities such as sending staff members to conferences like the National Orientation Directors Association Conference in the fall and the Regional Orientation Directors Association Conference in the spring, as well as purchase resource materials for the office (books, training DVDs), and support staff development.  If you have questions about the fundraising program, please contact our office at UISOrientation@uis.edu or by phone 217/206-8181.

Make a Difference for First-Year Students at UIS

When you give to the Office of New Student Orientation at UIS, you support students as they make the transition from home to UIS, from high school to university, from the familiar to the new. Your gifts help UIS provide enriching activities, resources, speakers like Fran Kick, leadership and service opportunities that make this transition as easy and effective as possible, leading to better retention and a better chance of success.  Please give generously.
