Fundraising and The First-Year Student Fund
NSOPR Fundraising

The Office of New Student Orientation and Parent Relations (NSOPR) participates in two fundraisers through the On Campus Marketing (OCM) company: Final Exam Care Packages and UIS Diploma Frames. NSOPR receives a percentage of the combined sales for Fall Final Exam Care Packages and Spring Final Exam Packages.
These funds are used to support non-orientation fee funded activities such as sending staff members to conferences like the National Orientation Directors Association Conference in the fall and the Regional Orientation Directors Association Conference in the spring, as well as purchase resource materials for the office (books, training DVDs), and support staff development. If you have questions about the fundraising program, please contact our office at UISOrientation@uis.edu or by phone 217/206-8181.

The First-Year Student Fund
You can also donate directly to the Office of New Student Orientation & Parent Relations to help us continue to expand our programming and support for new students at UIS.

Make a Difference for First-Year Students at UIS
When you give to the Office of New Student Orientation at UIS, you support students as they make the transition from home to UIS, from high school to university, from the familiar to the new. Your gifts help UIS provide enriching activities, resources, speakers, leadership and service opportunities that make this transition as easy and effective as possible, leading to better retention and a better chance of success. Please give generously.
