The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the 2022-23 student-athlete and coach regional awards for Division II Women's Collegiate Golf. 

Prairie Star Heather McLean landed on the list among highly decorated Division II athletes. The East Region list includes 2022 All-American athletes Anci Dy from Indianapolis and Mary Kelly Mulcahy from Findlay, as well as 2023 First Team All-Americans Tove Brunell from Missouri-St. Louis and Elyse Stasil from Indianapolis. 

McLean made the All-GLVC team after finishing tenth at the GLVC Championship and being voted onto that list by the league's head coaches. She went on to set the UIS 54-hole record of 220 at the East Regional.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches.
