UIS Softball senior Danielle Dennis earned D2CCA Second Team All-Region honors, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Dennis was honored in the utility category after starting a majority of games at second base or shortstop. She tallied up 93 putouts and 103 assists as well as 57 hits and 23 RBI. It is her third consecutive season earning all-region honors.
The Sherman, Ill. native was named to the GLVC's first team this season for the second time in her career. She made the GLVC and D2CCA first teams in 2021, and was named to the GLVC, D2CCA , and NFCA second teams in 2022.
