The Illinois Springfield women's tennis team will wrap up its GLVC regular season this weekend with home matches against conference foes Indianapolis and McKendree.

Due to forecasted rain, Friday's match against No. 25 Indianapolis has been moved indoors to the Springfield Racquet and Fitness Center at 2:00 p.m.

Saturday's match versus McKendree is set for 11:00 a.m. at Chatham Glenwood High School.

Senior Day recognition for Carmen Llopis Fabra, Kamila Kalinowska, and Piper Schrepferman will take place at 9:30 a.m., prior to warmups.

Illinois Springfield (1-9, 1-2 GLVC)
The Prairie Stars picked up their first win last weekend with a 4-3 victory at Lewis.

ITA No. 73-ranked Carmen Llopis Fabra secured a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. Cristina Mendoza Romero earned a straight-sets win at No. 5, and Man Naum collected a default win at No. 6. UIS also clinched the doubles point to secure the team victory.

Llopis Fabra leads the Stars with a 6-4 singles record and is 3-0 in GLVC play. She's also 2-1 in conference doubles alongside Ema Norma Bordean.

Indianapolis (9-5, 3-0 GLVC)
The Greyhounds enter the weekend undefeated in GLVC play after a 4-1 win over Missouri-St. Louis and a 6-1 victory against Maryville.

Jimena De Pablos Hernando (8-1) and Suryanshi (7-0) pace the singles lineup, while Linya Chen (6-3) adds to the team's depth.

Tyffaine Pais, ranked No. 25 in the ITA national singles rankings, brings a 4-0 record to the top of the lineup.

In doubles, De Pablos Hernando and Silvia Zappoli lead with a 9-2 mark.

McKendree (5-15, 2-1 GLVC)
The Bearcats are coming off a successful weekend at home, notching back-to-back 4-3 wins over Maryville and UMSL.

Sofija Djunisijevic leads the team in singles with a 10-6 record.
