Senior distance standout Madelyn Miller-Ross has earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, qualifying in the 5,000 meters. The national meet will be held March 13-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Miller-Ross secured her spot with a season-best and indoor program-record time of 16:28.26 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University on Jan. 31. The mark stands as her indoor personal best, narrowly off her outdoor career best of 16:27.78 set last spring.

This will be Miller-Ross' second appearance at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships. In her national debut last season, she earned Second Team All-America honors with a 10th-place finish in the 5,000 meters, crossing in 16:38.16. Since that first championship race, Miller-Ross has qualified for every NCAA national meet, including outdoor track last spring and cross country this past fall.

Her national qualification comes on the heels of another milestone performance. Just this past weekend, Miller-Ross captured the GLVC title in the 3,000 meters in a meet-record 9:41.03. Earlier this season, she posted her fastest 3K time of the year, 9:35.05, at the GVSU Big Meet in mid-February.

Selections for the 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships were based on qualifying performances achieved between Nov. 28 and March 1, with the final championship field announced March 3.

Miller-Ross is scheduled to compete in the 5,000 meters at 5:40 p.m. CT (6:40 p.m. ET) on Friday, March 13. Live results will be available on leonetiming.com, and the championship will be streamed live on NCAA.com.

Miller-Ross continues to build on a historic run as she returns to the national stage looking to add to her All-America honors.
