Asher Bradd and Chad Saner received All-Region honors by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), the organization announced on Wednesday. Bradd appeared on the D2CCA list as a first-team outfielder while Saner was a second-team starting pitcher.

Bradd and Saner were two of four UIS baseball players to earn All-Region awards by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). They were joined by Ryan Carmack and Ian Delleman in receiving NCBWA Honors. The four were also First Team All-GLVC selections.
The Midwest Region major awards by the NCBWA and D2CCA matched the Great Lakes Valley Conference's major postseason awards, with Quincy's Luke Napleton being named the Player of the Year, and Lewis' Jake Karaba being named the Pitcher of the Year.

Asher Bradd has been one of the top hitters in NCAA Division II this season. Bradd, who finished the season batting .434, averaged .488 at best earlier this spring. He is also No. 7 in NCAA Division II with 92 hits and averaged 1.80 hits per game. He had an on base percentage of .496, as well as 18 doubles, 3 triples, and 21 stolen bases.
Chad Saner struck out 89 opponent batters in 73.1 innings this spring, holding them to a .225 batting average. His WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) is the lowest of the Prairie Stars pitching staff at 1.17. Saner finished the season 6-1 with a 3.56 ERA.
Ryan Carmack, No. 12 in NCAA Division II with 109 strikeouts, went 65 innings for the Prairie Stars this spring and finished the season 7-2 with two complete games. Carmack held opponents to a .203 batting average and finished the season with a 4.02 earned run average.
Ian Delleman, a relief pitcher with three saves and a 3-1 record, recorded a .163 opponent batting average and 2.51 ERA this spring.
The Prairie Stars await the release of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Region teams.
