Admissions Requirements

To be fully admitted to MS in HRM, students must have:·

  • Official undergraduate transcript(s) with degree documentation
  • A 2.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA orbetter, or substantial experience and responsibility in a field related to the area of study, as documented by a current resume.
  • TOEFL or IELTS if native language is not English

The Master’s Degree

The master’s degree addresses the needs of students who are new to the HR field and also to those who are currently in human resources manager roles, the curriculum of our Master’s degree incorporates a broad range of courses, both at the core and at the elective level. The course curriculum of our program has different pathways that will help students to align their career objectives and to prepare them as tomorrow’s HR professionals and leaders. The program has uniqueness in the following ways: Leading-edge Competencies, Experiential Learning, and Alignment with SHRM Certifications.

Advising

New students must contact the department for initial advising to plan a program of study that satisfies degree requirements and reflects their interests. Students are also required to access the Degree Audit System throughout their college career to verify that degree requirements are being met.

Grading Policy

An overall GPA of 3.0 is required in degree-required courses to earn the master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
