Dr. Sudeep Sharma

Dr. Sudeep Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Illinois, Springfield. He holds Doctoral degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE).

Dr. Sharma’s research examines the role of individual differences in predicting negotiation behaviors and outcomes, in both field and laboratory settings. Recently one of his research papers on the role of personality and intelligence in negotiation received the 2015 outstanding article award from the International Association of Conflict Management (IACM) for making a significant and lasting contribution to the negotiation field. A summary of his work on the role of individual differences in negotiation was also published in the Winter 2014 issue of the Dispute Resolution magazine of the American Bar Association.

Dr. Sharma’s research interests include negotiation, personality and individual differences, power and status, and emotions in the work place. He teaches courses on Leadership in Organizations, Negotiation, Performance Management, and Research Methodology to Management students.
