Spring 2021 Online Courses

The courses listed on this page are hyperlinked to the actual UIS schedule.  You can follow this link to see useful information like the number of available spaces, course descriptions, and whether or not a waitlist exists.

Realize that this list includes only the courses that are most likely options for online LIS majors. It does not include courses that some students may wish to consider: graduate level courses, Teacher Preparation, or courses in BIO, BUS, MGT, MAT, and CSC that require prerequisites that most LIS majors have not completed. If you wish to review all UIS courses, please use the UIS dynamic schedule to find the options.

IMPORTANT:

  • All Psychology courses require approval.  The online approval request form will be available on the PSY program website on (approximately) November 1.
  • Intersession courses will meet Dec 2020 to Jan 2021.  Most will conclude prior to the start of the spring 2021 semester BUT they are considered as SPRING ENROLLMENT meaning they will appear on your spring bill, be eligible for spring financial assistance, and appear as a spring 2021 course on your transcript.
