Ms. Stephanie Richter is an internationally recognized innovator in the use of technology in higher education currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Faculty Development and Instructional Design Center at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. She consults with and trains faculty on integrating technology into teaching in thoughtful and pedagogically sound ways so that it enhances rather than drives teaching practice.
Ms. Richter holds a Master of Science in Education in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, both from Northern Illinois University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Instructional Technology
She is the recipient of five Blackboard Catalyst Awards in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017, and a 2014 Blackboard Exemplary Course Award. She is an alumnus of the Institute for Emerging Leaders in Online Learning, a Quality Matters certified reviewer and trainer, and a Blackboard MVP.
