Peggy is a National Certified Counselor, a  Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Family Trauma Professional, and a Diplomate and Clinical Mental Health Specialist in Child & Adolescent, Family, and Trauma Counseling. She is Secretary for the Association for Child & Adolescent Counseling, was appointed to the American Counseling Association’s International Committee, and is on the Leadership Board for the ACA Traumatology Interest Network. She has presented at international conferences in Ireland, Italy, England, Spain, Nova Scotia and Montreal on her research foci including resilience, trauma, and epigenetics.
