The site is based around an essay by Rosina Neginsky describing the life of Alexandra Pregel and analyzing a selection of her paintings that are hanging the the UIS Visual Arts Gallery.
You can proceed through the site using the previous and next arrows in the bottom left corner of each page or use the section links under the main page heading.
Beginning
with the Painting section, each page has a left panel with thumbnails of
the paintings described in the exhibition catalog. By clicking a thumbnail,
you can open a large view of the painting in a separate window. These separate
windows will stay open until you close them with your browser ![]() |

There are two gallery pages with medium-sized pictures that allow you to get a better view of Pregel's range of styles. One gallery page includes the paintings in the printed catalog; the other gallery page includes those paintings in the exhibition that are not included or discussed in the printed catalog. You can also open the large view windows from these gallery pages. |
