Student Ali Madden on study abroad in Ghana

Alexandra Madden (center, B.A. GBL 17) did research in Ghana as part of the UIS Masters in Public Health, which she earned in 2019.   She and colleagues from UIS worked with students and staff from Ghana’s University Of Health And Allied Sciences and studied water quality, hypertension, diabetes and Hepatitis C.  For more information about this trip, see news story “UIS students and faculty conduct research in Ghana…”
