Career Chats now available through your Career Connect account on Mondays (4-5 pm), Tuesdays (11 am-1 pm), and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (2-4 pm).
Career Suite call-in hours are Tuesdays (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.) and Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (2–4 p.m.)
Career Counseling/Career Advising appointments may be requested through students’ Career Connect account or by calling the office. Resume and cover letter reviews may be requested via email.
Wide varieties of resources are available on the website including the Career Toolbox and more.
Flexible Office Hours. A crisis counselor is available 24/7 by calling the main phone number.
All services are being offered through telehealth. Call or email to schedule an appointment. A variety of support groups will be offered starting the week of April 13. Check out the Counseling Center’s website for resources and additional details on the groups.
Hosting regular Zoom calls, temporarily slated for 5:30-6:30 p.m. Fridays for program members and for all first-generation students.
Hosting weekly campus check-ins, called “What’s Good, What’s New” with students throughout the university. Starts April 6 at 1p.m. Visit the center’s website or social media channels for up-to-date information.

On March 27, expanded grading options for students were announced. Students are allowed the credit/no credit option for all courses. This change is for the Spring 2020 semester only. The deadline to withdraw or change grading option for one or more full-term or last-half courses is Friday, April 24.
Residence Life remains available for support and assistance. HCOM is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday–Friday for package pick-up and general questions. Additionally, Res Life staff are able to answer 2020-21 room selection and assignment questions via email.
Student Life Instagram Live is at 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 3:30 p.m. Fridays.

UIS Veterans Affairs will be participating in the YouTube Live National Healthy Masculinity Conversation Series event “Healthy Masculinity and the United States Military” at 1 p.m. April 9. You can register for the event and join the conversation in real-time on Twitter.

The Volunteer & Civic Engagement Center encourages UIS to participate in the “30 Deeds in 30 Days” challenge to help others and promote one's own well-being through fun, daily activities as part of National Volunteer Month.
The Food Pantry has prepackaged bags of food available. Students are encouraged to make an appointment for pick-up or assistance with for separate item. Appointments can be made by emailing the Volunteer Center or by calling the Volunteer Center number and leaving a message.
The Women's Center is providing regular resources relating to self-care. Check out the center’s UIS Women's Center Facebook channels for details.
A Women’s Center staff member will also be present on the Diversity Center weekly “What’s Good, What’s New” Zoom calls for students.
