Blackboard is a Web-based learning management system designed to support fully online courses or provide a space for face-to-face course supplementation.
Go to the any UIS webpage that includes the blue menu bar. Click on Quick Links and then Blackboard.
Log in to Blackboard
Use your NetID and the password. (Your NetID is your User name.)
If you have never used Blackboard before, notice that there are resources that will help you become acquainted with the system as well as a link to the Technology Support website.
As a general rule, your courses will not be available in Blackboard until the first day of the semester. If you log in to the system before the first day of a semester, you will probably not have access to your courses. If you do not have access to your courses, the system may even note that you are not “registered” in any courses. Please realize that in this case “registered” means you don’t have access Blackboard courses and does not mean that you have been removed from the courses you registered in using the Enterprise system. If you ever have any questions about whether or not you are enrolled in a course, you should log in to the Enterprise system to check.
