About the Award
The highest individual recognition offered by the Online Learning (formerly Sloan) Consortium comes in the form of the Mayadas Leadership Award, which acknowledges and celebrates leadership in online education. This award recognizes prominent professionals whose work has had significant positive impact on online learning within the higher education community. Through this award, the Sloan Consortium seeks to recognize those innovative individuals who most clearly have demonstrated the ability to advance online learning (from OLC).
Ray Schroeder – Inaugural 2010 Recipient

Ray championed and led two successful Sloan-C grants, which established fully online degree programs—extending the reach of degree completion and the dreams of a college education for many.”
