Stacey Gilmore, Director
Stacey has been with Cox since October 2001. Stacey received both a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies (emphasis in child development) and MA in Human Development and Family Studies (emphasis in Early Childhood Administration) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rosemary Shanle, Kitchen
Rosemary began working at the Cox Children’s Center in May 2008. She has her Associate’s Degree from Springfield College.
Kerri Skrudland, Office Support Specialist
Kerri began working at the Cox Children’s Center in April 2019. She has a B.A. in Journalism from Bradley University.

Sam Lounsberry
Meagan Wright
Sam began working at the Cox Children’s Center in January of 2015 while doing her infant practicum. Beginning May 2015 Sam started working at the center as in an extra-help position, becoming full time in June 2016. Sam has her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln Land Community College.
Meagan started working at the Cox Children’s Center in March 2012 as a student worker. Meagan became a permanent staff member in March 2013. She has her B.A. in Psychology. Meagan is currently taking classes to further her ECE education.

Tamara Larcher-Keppler
Tamara began working at Cox in November 2006. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences-Child Care Services.
Erika McCready
Erika began working at Cox in January 2020. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Psychology and Arts.
Cardinal Room
Cheyanne Bowman
Cheyanne began working at the Cox Center in February 2014. She briefly left in 2016 to work in campus recreation but returned to work at the center in August 2018. Cheyanne has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. She also has her Master’s in Recreation Sport and Tourism.
Robin Eddington
Robin began working at the Cox Center in October 2019. She has her degree in Early Childhood Education.

Rachel Hill
Rachel began working at the Cox Center in February 2015. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies.
Butterfly Room
Kristin Kruger
Sam Riss
Kristin began working at the Cox Center in May 2008 as a student worker. Once she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, she became a full-time staff member.
Sam began working at the Cox Center in April 2013 as a student worker. Once she completed her degree in Psychology, she became a full-time staff member. Sam is currently taking classes to further her ECE education.
School Age Room
Kelsey Marucco
Kelsey started at Cox as a student employee. In December 2019, after finishing her student teaching, she accepted a position as a full-time float teacher. She transitioned to the School Age classroom in summer 2020. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from UIS.
Float Teacher
Olivia Darnell
Olivia began working at the center in June of 2019 in an extra-help position. In short order, she accepted a position as a float teacher. Olivia currently has her Associate’s Degree and is working towards her Bachelor’s at UIS with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology.
