2020 AGA Rates School: An Introduction to Natural Gas Ratemaking

The American Gas Association offers this four day program of intensive study of the natural gas industry and its regulation. Taught by recognized experts in the field, this program focuses on the details of rate-making through classroom work, study groups, and lectures. This program is sponsored by the Center for Business and Regulation in the College of Business and Management at the University of Illinois Springfield. The course is held at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center.
As in past years the Rates School is all electronic. All participants should bring a laptop or other device for reading electronic documents. The Center will make the material available electronically to all attendees.
Conference Location: Gleacher Center, University of Chicago
The training is held at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center located at 450 North City Front Plaza Drive just north of the Chicago River and east of North Michigan Avenue on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. (Directions) The dress code is business causal. Dining: Walking distance: Restaurants on North Michigan Avenue and Near North Cab: Chicago’s restaurant row.
Attendees are responsible for their own accommodations and must make their own reservations. There is no preferred hotel for this conference and we do not have conference rates at any hotel. There are many name brand business hotels within walking distance to the Gleacher Center. Here is a list of hotels within one mile of the Gleacher Center.
AGA Members: $1,450 per attendee
Non-AGA Members: $1,750 per attendee
