Parents Overview

Academic advisors are trained professionals invested in your students’ academic success. We are available to discuss all aspects of student life including academics, co- and extracurricular learning opportunities, social and community involvement, and career development.

All the professional advisors in OASIS have earned Master’s degrees or higher, and together they bring more than 30 years of combined experience in higher education. We are well equipped to help your students identify the most appropriate resources to address their concerns and make the best decisions for their academic careers. We are your partners in supporting your student’s academic success.

Please encourage your students to contact us with any questions or concerns at or (217) 206-7471.

We also encourage you to utilize the services of University’s Office of New Student Orientation and Parent Relations.
