Excel at the Expo – Career Fair Prep Employer Panel

  • Tuesday, Feb.  6, 2018; 4:00-5:30 PM in Ballroom Meeting Room, Student Union

Learn from a panel of recruiters, who will be attending the Career Connections Expo on February 15th. Topics will cover how to: 1) prepare before the career fair; 2) perform at the Expo by dressing professionally, crafting your professional introduction/elevator pitch, and building your professional network; and 3) follow-up after an interaction with an employer at the Career Connections Expo.

Career Expo Prep Workshop (in-person and online options)

  • Friday, Feb. 9, 2018; 1-2PM in SAB 50
  • Register to participate (online & in-person) in CareerConnect under Events.

Learn how to make the most of your career connections expo experience. The seminar will cover how to: 1) navigate the career expo; 2) prepare your resume and cover letter; 3) Dress for success; 4) create your “30 second elevator pitch”, plus much more!

 Career Connections Expo Coaching Corner – 2/15/18 (onsite)

  • Students will have the opportunity to engage with staff from the Career Development Center and receive tips and information on supportive programming and resources.
