Overview: Career Fairs

The UIS Career Development Center offers 2 annual career-related fairs to help connect students, alumni, and the community with employers and graduate programs.

Springfield Collegiate Career Fair

The annual Springfield Collegiate Career Fair is held each February and is an excellent opportunity for UIS and other area college students to meet, and network with employers who have jobs, internships, or other opportunities available now or in the future. The event is free for students and community members. Staff from UIS, Lincoln Land Community College, Robert Morris University, Benedictine University, & ITT Tech in Springfield organize the fair each year.

Foot in the Door Fair

The Foot in the Door Fair held each fall semester as students return to school. The fair was created to help students connect with local employers for part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Students can also look for part-time on-campus employment at this fair.
