Things to Remember

  • Make sure the address is in the right place on your envelope
    Print the delivery and return addresses on the same side of your envelope, card, or package, parallel to the longest edge.
  • Make it easy to read
    Print or type clearly. Avoid commas, periods, or other punctuation.
  • Placement
    The address, return address, and postage should all be on the same side of the envelope
  • Return Address
    Print or type your address in the upper-left corner on the front of the envelope.
  • Delivery Address
    Print or type clearly, the delivery address parallel to the longest side of the envelope.
  • Postage
    Use a stamp or attach a signed mail slip to your completed mail pieces.
