Menno Servaes chose the University of Illinois Springfield be part of the “talented and driven” men’s tennis team, which he now captains. On campus, he’s the president of The Research Society, Student Government Association Senator for the College of Business and Management, and is a member of the Society of Advancement of Management and Society of Human Resource Management. He also is working on his own research project in the negotiation field and assisting in three other projects, along with volunteering each semester. “I believe that the size of this university and the student-oriented faculty, staff and coaches allow students to grow and develop to their fullest potential,” he said. “I have personally benefitted tremendously from close relationships with coaches and professors who became incredible mentors for me.”
