Jay Vlahon

Jay Vlahon’s passion for history helped him land a graduate assistantship with the Papers of Abraham Lincoln, located as the Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield. As a graduate student at the University of Illinois Springfield, Vlahon gained valuable experience handling and transcribing documents. Following graduation, he was hired to continue his work. He’s now processing documents from the national archive’s Robert Todd Lincoln Collection. The documents will be posted online and are accessible worldwide.
