Career Highlights
Guyton has served as a community police officer and field training officer where she received a life saving award. She has also served as second vice president of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #157. “I have had the opportunity to do what I love and that is being involved in the community,” she said.

How did UIS change or prepare you?
“I have had the opportunity to increase my knowledge of the ins and outs of the criminal justice system and have a complete understanding of the importance of education. I can successfully advocate for higher education. An education equals an increase in job opportunities, an increase in socioeconomic status and an increase in support for higher education.”
