Memories of UIS
“The friendships made and cultivated at UIS are my favorite memories. I also enjoyed the fall soccer games and competing in the annual Springfest competition.”

How did UIS change or prepare you?
“UIS helped prepare me for my career as it not only taught academic fundamentals, but also focused on humanities and the study of people. It pushed me to understand foreign relations and take many academic courses in foreign language making me a more well-rounded and exposed person. I apply these skills daily to my job as a prosecutor as you have to consider all facets of a criminal case and ultimately try to make the best decision for the community you serve by analyzing all information put in front of you. Also, the legal studies program introduced me to complex legal issues and gave me some experience in analyzing these problems.”

Interesting Fact
“I enjoy deer hunting, snowmobiling, and competitive BBQ’ing.”
