UIS Shelterbelt Creative Writing and Publishing Series

Bringing Writers and Poets to the UIS Campus

The Shelterbelt Series presents emerging and established fiction writers and poets of national reputation. Visiting writers give readings from their work, discuss the writing (and publishing) life, and visit UIS classes.
All Shelterbelt readings are free and open to the public. Invite your friends!  You can find information about coming events on the Shelterbelt event page for details on both events.
You can also learn more about the program at the Shelterbelt Reading Series’ website or their on their Tumblr page.
