Grant Seeking
UIS Grants, Contracts and Research Administration
The Grants and Contracts Office (PAC 515, 217-206-7409) works closely with the Office of Development and grant-seekers at UIS to make sure the proper approvals are achieved for grant application submissions.
UIS Office of Development
When seeking private grants from corporations or foundations, or gifts from corporations, the Office of Advancement (PAC 591, 217-206-6058) will assist you in the process. The Office of Advancement and the Grants and Contracts Office can help guide you in developing a fundable program that speaks directly to particular corporate and/or foundation guidelines. This step is a crucial step in achieving award. In the Advancement Office, Katie Champion Williams and Kate McKenzie will then assist with proposal development and submissions.

UIS Office of Advancement
The Office of Advancement maintains relationships with our corporate and foundation partners. Keeping in contact with the development office throughout the grant agreement cycle is important for planning next steps, making visits, filing grant reports, and continual cultivation of these relationships.
