The Women's Center awarded the 10th Naomi B. Lynn Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Environment for Women at UIS to the student cast & crew of Rising up of the Springdale Ladies Aid Society to Barbara Ferrara, associate director, Center for State Policy and Leadership to Tih-Fen Ting, assistant professor, Environmental Studies and the Women's Issues Caucus 3rd Student Activism Award to Samantha Drews, SGA president and Women’s Issues Caucus vice-chair.
