Teaching Interests: Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Organizational Teams and Small Groups, and Management Skills.

Accomplishments: Dr. Ferk has more than 15 years of work experience in the private, not-for-profit, and federal sectors working as a human resource professional. She has served on a number of professional boards to support and advance the Human Resource profession and also speaks and publishes on HR related topics. She has research interests in a variety of areas pertaining to human resources management and management education including workplace implications of commuter marriages, managing careers, and creating effective virtual teams.
