If you could answer yes to any one of the questions listed above, then you may qualify to apply to the Whitney M. Young Graduate Fellowship Program.
The program serves to provide tuition assistance and a monthly stipend to graduate students. To apply, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be classified as either a U. S. citizen or resident alien. (International students with F-1 or similar temporary visa status are not eligible to apply.)
- Have achieved a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0, or if applying as a graduate student, maintained a cumulative graduate-level GPA of at least 3.0.
- Be conditionally or fully admitted to a UIS graduate degree program.
