The Downstate Illinois Innocence Project received a large grant to use DNA to help exonerate innocent persons. Kirk Bloodsworth, subject of the first DNA case, will speak at UIS next Tuesday.

The 2010 Holiday Stars Project has collected over 10,000 pounds of food and efforts continue through December 3. Contributions will be donated to the Central Illinois Foodbank. Thanks to all who participated.
