The College of Public Affairs and Administration is at the forefront of the campus' public affairs mission and service within the context of liberal arts and professional education. The college serves the capital city and the state of Illinois well in preparing its students to enter the workforce. A multidisciplinary approach to public affairs education and experiential learning is the foundation of this preparation. The College of Public Affairs and Administration is a leader in public affairs. We are engaged in excellent teaching, leading-edge scholarship, and public service to advance public discourse, improve government, and enhance public policy in Illinois, the nation, and our wider global community.
In addition to its undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates, the college also offers the only doctoral program on the UIS campus, the Doctor of Public Administration. Degree and certificate programs are offered by the college in traditional classroom environments in daytime, evening, and weekend classes and through online learning.
