Theatre Classes for Fall 2008

THE 273:  Principles of Acting (Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:00pm-3:40pm) 4 Hours/CRN 12959/M. Thibodeaux-Thompson


THE 274: Introduction to Theatre (Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00am-11:15am) 3 Hours/CRN 12954/E. Thibodeaux-Thompson

THE 322:  Playing Shakespeare (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00pm-3:15pm) 3 Hours, Same as COM 322 and ENG 322. Prerequisite:  THE 273, COM 273 or permission of instructor./CRN 12956/E. Thibodeaux-Thompson


THE 475:  Theatre Practicum (Meets during rehearsal schedule and Performance schedule) 1-2 Hours, May be repeated to a maximum of 8 hours with approval.  Instructor Approval Required./CRN 12960/M. Thibodeaux-Thompson

With each of these courses you can earn credit hours in the "Interpersonal - Organizational" track in the COMMUNICATION Department.

empty And now by taking either THE 274 Introduction to Theatre OR THE 273 Principles of Acting, students can satisfy part of the new General Education Visual, Creative, and Performing Arts Requirement. Both of these courses now also serve as Gen Ed Visual, Creative, and Performing Arts options.   Both THE 274 Introduction to Theatre and THE 273 Principles of Acting will be offered again during the Spring 2009 semester.
