Secondary Mathematics Coursework for Certification Online

Coursework varies and is subject to change.  As of October 6, 2005, the following four guidelines are being used.  All candidates must complete a minimum of two math courses at UIS regardless of previous coursework taken elsewhere.  In addition, candidates without prior teacher certification must meet general education requirements.  UIS will not accept transfer credits for TEP 314, 419 or 436.  All credits transferred to UIS must have a minimum grade of B or higher.

You will need to contact your local Regional Office Of Education or go through Educator Certification System.  Once you get a deficiency list from them, you can then take all of your courses online with UIS.
