Monday, October 6 - Theme: Star Day: Dress Like Your Favorite Celebrity or Character*

Homecoming Pep Rally — 9:30pm –TRAC

Join the Student Activities Committee and UIS Athletics in kicking off Homecoming Week.  Meet the team, enjoy live performances from UIS stars, and UIS students receive a free Homecoming 2014 T-shirt with their icard (limited supplies and sizes)

Tuesday, October 7  - Theme: You Do You Tuesday: Come Up with Your Own Themed Day*

Enjoy food, fun and a family atmosphere. UIS students and registered Family Weekend participants FREE.  Others $10 (which includes admission to the Women’s and Men’s Soccer games and fireworks following the game).

Pie a “K” (Sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha) — 6:30pm (during BBQ) — South Quad

Alumni Softball Reunion Game — noon –Softball Field

Student vs. Faculty/Staff/Alumni BB Game — 1pm — SLB Gym

Blue Brunch (Sponsored by Blue Crew & Spirit Team) — 2:30pm — TRAC

UIS Volleyball vs. Southern Indiana — 3pm — TRAC

Inaugural UIS Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Reception — 6:30pm reception followed by 7:30pm program — Studio Theatre

Homecoming Dance — 9:30pm — SLB Gym

 

 *Show Your School Spirit!

Show your school spirit! Students are encouraged to dress up in the appropriate category for each day and to post a photo showing their spirit to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, tagging the Office of Transition Services (@Transitions_UIS for Instagram and Twitter, UIS Transition Services for Facebook) and hashtagging #UISSpiritWeek.  Your photo must be taken on campus, so make sure your location is visible in the photo.  Transition Services will then choose a winner each day for daily prizes.
