Student Government Positions Available

Nominations are due in SAB 20 or the Peoria Center Office by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 9.

· Nomination Packets are available in the Student Life Office (SAB 20), the Peoria Center Office, and online at http://www.uis.edu/sga/candidatefilingforms.doc.

· Mandatory Candidates Meeting: 4:30 p.m., Tuesday April 10 in SAB 20. (Peoria candidates should contact Student Life (217- 206-6665) to make alternate arrangements.)

· “On-Line” Elections will be held April 18-19.

* Senator from the College of Business and Management

* Senator from the College of Education and Human Services

* Senator from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

* Senator from the College of Public Affairs and Administration

* UIS Student Representative to the University of Illinois Board of Trustees

**The Sgt. – At – Arms is not an elected position. Interested applicants must complete a Candidate Filing Form and a position statement. The newly elected SGA President will review these applications and make an appointment as they deem appropriate.
