LeaderShape 2008 Information

What: The LeaderShape Institute is an interactive, energizing, and unique experience that builds leadership skills no other program can match. And since 1986, over 20,000 participants from all over the world have graduated from our program. But be prepared! It is six days of non-stop self-discovery and learning from practical experiences that build your leadership concepts and abilities. It's go, go, go 12 hours a day... And you'll love it! Where: Robert Allerton Park and Conference Center near Champaign, IL.

When:

Who is eligible?: All UIS students are eligible to apply. However, only two scholarships are available. Applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria to determine which students will be able to participate.

Criteria:

All applications will be judged on the following criteria:

• UIS student status (required)
• Current involvement on campus
• Current and previous leadership experience (on and off campus)
• Plan of action to share information obtained at institute with campus community
  

Cost: The cost is $1,475 which includes all lodging, meals, and materials. However, two scholarships are available which will cover these costs. The only cost to the students would be travel to and from Champaign.

Deadline: The deadline is Friday, April 4th application can be subimtted in the Student Life Office, SAB 20 or the Student Organization Center, SLB 16.
