Collective Book Readings
The Student Affairs Professional Development Committee will provide an opportunity for Student Affairs staff to check out books that can benefit both our professional and personal lives. Our hope is that book reading discussions will take place within the division and that our collective reading series will turn into thought provoking discussions. Typically, when a book is recommended, a minimum number of books will be purchased by the Vice Chancellor’s office and will be made available on loan. Participants are also welcome to purchase their own copy of books if desired. Contact Christina Ryan at 6-8214 or cryan1@uis.edu to check out the books.
