Dr. Barnett saw my potential and has given me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a career in Student Affairs. I have worked with the various Student Affairs Directors around campus and have completed unique projects that suit my interests, talents, and ambitions. I am even attending a nation-wide Student Affairs Conference during Spring Break! The Division of Student Affairs at UIS whole-heartedly supports its students in anything and everything they want to do and I am definitely an example of that support.”
