Contested Issues in Student Affairs - Diverse Perspectives and Respectful Dialogue - Moderators: Beth Hoag, Office of Student Life, Assistant Director of Student Life and Yolanda Beamon, Director of New Student Orientation and Parent Relations - This workshop will discuss chapters of the book "Contested Issues in Student Affairs" by Peter M. Magolda and Marcia B. Baxter Magolda. The chapters will be scanned in for your review. Participants will need to read the following four chapters for discussion.

- CHAPTER 19 - HOW DO STUDENT AFFAIRS EDUCATORS PROTECT FREEDOM OF SPEECH WHILE ENSUREING CIVIL DISCOURSE?
- CHAPTER 23 - WHY DO STUDENT AFFAIRS EDUCATORS STRUGGLE TO SET PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES?
