STUDY ABROAD

UIS Archaeological Field Course in Germany (SOA 473)

UIS students have many opportunities to study abroad for a summer or a semester, and the SOA program strongly encourages you to make use of this opportunity if possible.  Financial aid may be available, and your advisor will work with you to make sure that you can complete your UIS requirements and get graduation credit for your study abroad.

The 2004 research group included field school students, co-director Linda Grimm (Oberlin College), graduate field supervisors Jennifer Giesler and Eric Nocerino, and University of Tübingen colleagues Dr. Rainer Schreg and Corina Knipper.
