The SOA Program recommends that students planning to major in Sociology/Anthropology take Social Problems (SOA 201) during their first two years.
SOA students planning a semester abroad should plan to be away spring semester of their junior year, and should work with their SOA advisor to make sure that all required courses can be scheduled around the semester abroad.
