The BSW curriculum is guided by the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards provided by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
The curriculum is designed to teach a foundation of Social Work knowledge, skills, and values. Students are taught to develop the necessary skills and values for working with individuals, groups, families, and communities. They receive coursework in social policy, research, diversity, ethics, and professional development. This experience culminates with a 400-hour internship with a social service agency.
The BSW core curriculum is 44 hours and is comprised of 10 courses.
