The Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk was held throughout campus on Saturday, October 3. Runners and walkers prepare for the start of the Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk. The female division winner of the Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk was Amanda Flesch in 22:45. The winner for the male division of the Yellow Brick Road 5K Run/Walk was Dan Leonard in 16:32. Steve Chrans, Assistant Chancellor for Student Affairs, chauffeurs Homecoming King Justin Bournes and Homcoming Queen Brandi Parker in the annual homecoming parade on October 3.
A pet parade was part of the annual homecoming event. College of Education and Human Services alumni and faculty took part in the annual homecoming parade on October 3, 2009. Students dress in costumes to reflect this years theme, No Place Like Homecoming, during the annual homecoming parade. The annual homecoming parade was held on campus on October 3, 2009. Residents of the Leadership for Life Service Wing in Lincoln Residence Hall participated in the annual homecoming parade.
